Why Everyone Should Visit Peru At Least Once In Their Lifetime

If you’re looking for an exotic place to visit that has a powerful history, is rich culture and has beautiful landscapes rich in wild trees and wild tree products, consider visiting Peru. Peru is a country in the western portion of South America. It is nestled between Ecuador, Columbia, Brazil, Bolivia, Chile and the Pacific Ocean. If visual appeal is important to you when deciding on a destination, this should be a top option.

Everyone should visit Peru at least once in their lifetime. Its exotic appeal is unmatched. Here are four reasons why Peru should be included in your list of places to go:

1) The Pisac Market. For any tourist looking for a one-stop location to purchase, the Pisac Market is perfect. Labeled easily “the best shopping market in Peru”, this shopping mega-center comes to its full potential every Sunday. Although throughout the week, it still deserves a visit. Mornings offer the best selection, pricing and samples. Vendors sell reasonably priced craft items, produce and general supplies. For anyone looking to find souvenirs that are straight from the culture, this is the perfect location.

2) The Sacred Valley of the Incas Private Day Trip. Rich with history, Peru is one of the most interesting cultures to study and the Sacred Valley of the Incas is a must-see. As you make your way to the Valley, the indigenous peoples show their traditions of knitting and dyeing fabrics to create beautiful pieces. You will see alpaca and llama farming by generations of farmers. The trip itself is a unique experience in which you can learn about the culture. It all culminates though at the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Guides will tell you a tale of historical significance rife with mummies, ancient builders and agricultural blueprints from centuries past.

3) Trujillo. This is a city that is the third in size in the country and offers a wide range of activities. If you are an architectural fan, you should definitely visit this city. The culture is imbedded heavily in the historic areas. You can see first-hand how ingenious the builders were in centuries past. In addition, the city is considered the liberty hub of the country and a founding block of the judiciary side. On top of that, it offers some of the best Peruvian restaurants in the world. For the epicurean-minded, this is a necessary visit.

4) Andean Agricultural Terraces. For visual beauty unparalleled, visit the Andean Agricultural Terraces. These are mountainside terraces by Colca Canyons and Cotahuasi. Some of the most visually stunning Incan ruins can be seen here. The concentric terrace ranges create an amphitheater much-like ancient Greeks created. The perfectly circular structures also showcases aqueduct drainage and how it was managed effectively in ancient times.

Overall Peru is an amazing destination to add to any bucket-list. Consider the visual appeal and natural beauty this country has to offer and likely, it will win you over every time.
