3 Nagas Restaurant

While at Khamboua House provides convenience and comfort in a well designed-baroque-style air conditioned room – perfect for sunny days.  Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served at both restaurants. The bar opens daily and provides a wide range of delicious drinks and cocktails. The recommended dishes are Mhok Het(steamed mushroon in banana leaf), Phaneang Khai(Laotian chicken curry), Naem Kao(steamed rice crepe stuffed with minced pork) and Oua Si Khai(stuffed minced chicken in lemongrass)

Address : Located on the other side of the Nam khan river, near Wat Phan Luang
Dyen sabai restaurant has been opened for almost 5 years. It is located across the Nam Khan river.  You can reach the restaurant by bamboo bridge in high season (from November to May) and by a free boat in rainy season (from June to October). The restaurant has three different type of seating, cushions on the floor, Japanese style table and regular table.  From the restaurant, you can see the Phousi mountain and Luang Prabang peninsula.  Dyen Sabai offers very good European breakfast and in daytime specialize in Lao food and Lao BBQ.

The House restaurant was started in 2007 by two Belgium travelers who decided to stay in Luang Prabang. This restaurant is famous for its casual ambience. The staff is trained to look after their customers like friends, to give them the feeling of HOME.The Belgium beers is much loved by the customers. The restaurant serves Belgium and European cuisine. Try the Beef Steak and the fries made in classic Belgium way which are cooked with some secret ingredients.

The Apsara

Address : Ban Phanluang, Luang Prabang
The Apsara Restaurant offers guests a chance to relax on their terrace and enjoy the views of Nam Khan river.  The restaurant is well known of having one of the most interesting menus in town as well as an eclectic wine list and the driest Martinis in Laos. Using mainly local ingredients with a blend of Western and Eastern influences, the small menu offers an alternative to the mainly Lao and French establishments nearby. Open plan with tall ceilings, brightly colored fabrics and hanging Vietnamese lanterns the decor, can be accurately described as  “Indochine chic”. The restaurant has various specialty dishes – dried beef and lemongrass salad with mint, coriander and cashews and  deep fried Panin fish with a lime and tamarind sauce. Recommended desserts include poached Nashi pear in lime and ginger syrup served with coconut ice-cream and a Lao crispy popadum.

La Belle Epoque Restaurant

Address : 4-5 Ban Phonepheng, P.O. Box 507, Luang Prabang
Surrounded by interesting tropical gardens, La Belle Epoque Restaurant is located in Luang Say Residence. This restaurant is popular for cocktail parties, simple yet so delightful. The menu is creative, healthy and seasonal. The menu is changes every quarter serving regional dishes from Laos and other South East Asian countries. When you visit for the first time do not miss the Laotian Tasting Menu. The other signature dishes that can be given a try are mushroom soup and foam enhances with truffle oil and chicken liver terrine maison cooked with local organic bibs and pickled cornichon.
